Gem Faire

I'm going to the Gem Faire in Costa Mesa this weekend. This time I'm going to look for seed beads for my loom beading projects. It's also the best place I know of to find bargains on gemstones, pearls, and tools. If you live in CA you can get info about future faires at www.gemfaire.com or info@gemfaire.com.
I will probably go on Friday and beat the crowds and have the best choices.

August plans

I have a bunch of adventures coming up. This Sat. night I'm going to hear a friend who is a musician play at a coffee shop in Huntington Beach.
Then the next weekend I'm going to a gem and mineral show in Costa Mesa...yay!
Then the following weekend is the psychic fair at the Learning Light Foundation where I work as a psychic. I've had more and more clients each month.
Then I am taking the train to Santa Maria CA the next weekend in August to do face painting at a company picnic.
Whew. It's going to be a busy month.

Upcoming events

I ran into an old friend of mine on http://www.tribe.net/ and she said there is going to be a new Renaissance Faire starting in Idyllwyld, CA and she is looking for guilds to participate. I don't know the exact date and location but as soon as she knows, she'll let us know.

This weekend is the 10th Annual Gourd Art Festival in Fallbrook, CA at the Welburn Gourd Farm. See http://www.gourdfestival.com/ for details. I hope to be there on Sat. so if you see me please come and say hello.

Greek Festival/Gay Pride Parade

I'm hoping there are belly dancers there, but you never know.

Then on Sunday I'm going to a gay pride parade in Long Beach CA. Looks like I'll have loads of photo taking ops this weekend.
